I worked for an Advertising agency a while back and I was supposed to be the 'third set of eyes' for things going out to be published. There was a girl there who insisted her stuff didn't have to be checked, and because of that she lost her job for the huge snafu of sending out an ad to be published with the company name spelled "RHAS Advertising and Pubic Relations".

Meatpies, i hear you loud and clear. I once worked in the ad department of a heavy equipment manufacturing company. You can imagine the crap all of us guys took after releasing a brochure that had the misspelled word "ERRECTION" (all caps, bold, and 24 pt type) in it.

And that was after the agency, product manager, ad manager and two or three other people had proofed it.
